FOOTBALL: Reggae Boyz protest over unpaid wages

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz are in turmoil ahead of today's Group B CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying match against Panama at the National Stadium.
The match is set to kick-off at 9 p.m.
Yesterday's planned training session at the National Stadium was cancelled with no explanation given.
The Reggae Boyz and members of the Jamaica Football Federation's hierarchy, including president Captain Horace Burrell, were locked in a meeting which went on for well over two hours last night at the National Stadium.
Captain Burrell emerged from the meeting tight-lipped about the circumstances surrounding the cancellation of the team’s last training session.

However, The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre understands that the players were protesting over unpaid wages ahead of today's game.
The Reggae Boyz also took strike action in a dispute over money and cancelled their training session ahead of their opening game at the CONCACAF Gold Cup in July.
