Morgan, Brown up for CONCACAF awards

Reggae Boyz defender Wes Morgan, who signed an endorsement deal with rum company Captain Morgan, is one of two Jamaicans shortlisted for awards at the fourth annual CONCACAF Awards, after his performances for English Premier League champions Leicester City.
Morgan, who skippered Leicester City to their first ever English Premier League title with an impressive showing in defence for the Foxes, in a nicely connected coming together given his own surname, has now partnered with the popular rum brand in its #CelebrateLikeTheCaptain promotional campaign.
Fans around the world will be able to toast the Leicester City defender with a limited edition Captain Morgan bottle with his picture on the label.
Morgan was a rock in defence for Leicester last season as he led the team to the English Premier League title by winning the competition 10 points ahead of second placed Arsenal.
Morgan will be helping to promote and judge the #CelebrateLikeTheCaptain campaign, which calls on football teams to perform and upload goal celebrations to win monthly prizes, culminating in an end of season trip to Jamaica for the best team.
Meanwhile, assistant referee Princess Brown is the other Jamaican nominated for a CONCACAF award. She is nominated for the Female Referee of the Year Award.
Morgan faces stiff competition from Ryan Ruiz of Guatemala, Clint Dempsey of the United States, Javier Hernandez of Mexico, and Kaylor Navas of Costa Rica for the Player of the Year Award.
The CONCACAF awards honour players and achievements in CONCACAF-sanctioned tournaments and competitions involving the confederation's national teams at all levels.
This includes FIFA World Cups and World Cup qualifying for both genders, in all age categories.
