Arnett in the Lion's den - Henry: My players have the quality to overturn a one-goal deficit

Humble Lion's president Mike Henry said on Friday that the immediate future of his club rests on overturning a 1-2 deficit against Arnett Gardens in their Red Stripe Premier League semi-final return leg today at the Effortville Community Centre in Clarendon, starting at 3 p.m.
"The aim of the club is to reach the CONCACAF Club Championship, so we need to reach the final in order to participate in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Championship next year," Henry said.
The CFU Club Championship serves as a qualifier for the CONCACAF Champions League.
Henry believes that, as professionals, his players have the quality to overturn the one-goal lead that Arnett Gardens hold from the first leg played last Sunday at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.
"A one-goal deficit is not difficult for a professional club with experience and quality players to overturn. I have full confidence in the team's ability to beat Arnett on our home turf and advance to the final. That is our goal," Henry explained.
NOT DISHEARTENED
"I don't see a one-goal deficit as anything. I'm not disheartened by the first-game loss last Sunday. I have every confidence in the team. The team has enough depth and could make changes, but that is up to the coach (Donovan Duckie)," he insisted.
Henry pointed out that the team had only lost three times during the regular season at home this season, and he is encouraging the supporters to come out and fill the venue to capacity.
"As the president, I have done all I can. We have done well at home, so I don't see why we can't beat Arnett at Effortville for the third time this season. We are the regular season champions for the first time, so the aim is to add the Premier League title for the first time in the club's history," he said.
In the first leg, Arnett started on fire and got a goal when Fabian Reid scored on the stroke of half-time. Vishinul Harris doubled the lead fifteen minutes after the interval. However, defender Kevon Reid got a crucial goal for Humble Lion in the 62nd minute.
