The first of two Diamond League finals will take place in Zurich on Thursday with five Jamaicans in the hunt for a mega US$50,000 ($6.4 million) pay day.

Speedster Elaine Thompson in the 200m, triple jumper Kimberly Williams and sprint hurdler Danielle Williams along with Asafa Powell, who is set for a competitive 100m, will headline Jamaica's interest as they all look to put disappointment behind them in the Swiss city.

Simone Facey will also feature in the diamond showdown in the 200m, while the improving Jura Levy, youngster Christania Williams and the experienced Schillonie Calvert will stretch their legs in a non-Diamond League 100m test.
