Jamaica's Sunshine Girls secured a silver medal, equalling their best ever finish in a major international tournament, after losing in the final of the Fast5 Netball World Series to England early this morning.

The Sasher-Gaye Henry and Marvette Anderson coached Girls lost 34-29 to the Red Roses in the final, after beating them earlier in the day. The loss was the only defeat they suffered in the tournament, having upset New Zealand on the way to the final.

The team will return to the island from Melbourne, Australia at 6:45 tomorrow evening.
