President of the Jamaica Football Federation Michael Ricketts has congratulated the National Under-20 Women's team for qualification to the CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship to be held in Trinidad and Tobago next January.
The young Reggae Girls advanced after they clipped Haiti 1-0 last Friday to register their second win in the four-team qualifiers. Jamaica had earlier defeated the Dominican Republic by the same margin.
"The team and the technical staff have done well and made us proud, and we will give all possible support as they move on to the next stage," Ricketts said.
Jamaica will play hosts St Kitts and Nevis in their final match today.
