Arnett Gardens coach Jerome Waite is hoping that events do not get out of control and has called on the referee to be firm when his team meets hosts Tivoli Gardens in the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) at the Edward Seaga Complex this afternoon at 3 o'clock.

Waite said players from both teams tend to go overboard with their physical play when they meet, and he is hoping that whoever is in charge of the game will control the players' aggression and tackles.

"This is a derby game between the two Gardens, and these are the games that will bring out the best in both teams. Tivoli are having a poor run, but they will lift their game in a derby match," Waite said.

The Arnett Gardens coach added that his team has been hit by a number of injuries.

"[Winning] is always the main objective, but we have many players on the injured list. We are now working with those available and trying to develop the right chemistry. So it will be a tough game, but we are up for it," he said.
