West Indies, replying to India’s 416, limped to 87 for seven in their first innings at the close on the second day of the second Test at Sabina Park on Saturday, leaving the visitors in firm control of the contest at this stage.
Shimron Hetmyer has so far scored the most runs for the West Indies, with 34 runs, against Jasprit Bunrah's 6-16.
Earlier, Hanuma Vihari hit a solid 111 for India, with Virat Kohli 76, Ishant Sharma 57 and Mayank Agarwal 55, offering good support.
West Indies captain Jason Holder 5-77 and Rahkeem Cornwall 3-105 got most wickets for the Windies.
Jahmar Hamilton, who is on two runs and Cornwall not out on 4, will resume the West Indies' reply on Sunday.
