St Andrew Technical (STATHS) and Wolmer's ended the first half of their ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup semi-final, locked at 1-1, in an exciting contest at the National Stadium on Wednesday.

STATHS, who are looking to return to the final, where they lost to Jamaica College in 2017, took the advantage in the ninth minute, when defender Steven McQueen powered a close-range header beyond Wolmer's goal-keeper Denzel Smith.

However, in the 15th minute of play, Wolmer's striker Orlando Russell made the most of a delightful pass out of midfield, outwitting STATHS defender Noel Walker, before calmly slotting a rolling shot beyond goal-keeper Ricardo Laing, to secure parity for the team from Heroes Circle, who are looking for their first Manning Cup title since 1994.

Defending champions Kingston College and Jamaica College will play the second semi-final, which starts at 5:00 p.m., also at the National Stadium.
