Mount Pleasant defeated Harbour View 3-1 in their Jamaica Premier League first-leg quarter-final football game at the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence.

In the first game of Saturday's quarter-final double header, Devonte Campbell opened the scoring in the 30th minute, while Kesslon Hall and Jourdain Fletcher added strikes in the 55th and 75th minutes, respectively, for Mount Pleasant. Second-half substitute Tyrese Williams cut the deficit by one, with a goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

Harbour View head coach, Ludlow Bernard, was given a red card at half-time for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The two teams will meet in the second leg on Wednesday.
