Clarendon College (CC) captured their first hold on the ISSA Champions Cup knockout title after a 1-0 victory over Dinthill Technical High School at the Stadium East field today.

Keheim Dixon netted the all-important goal for the Lenworth ’Teacher’ Hyde-coached CC in the 53rd minute of the game.

It was Dixon's eighth goal of the season for CC.

CC have are only the second Rural Area team to win the Champions Cup title after Cornwall College's triumph in 2018.

It was a major disappointment for Dinthill as their 40-year wait for silverware continues, with the school last tasting success in 1981 when they won the daCosta Cup and shared the Olivier Shield with Kingston College.

Dinthill ended the game with 10 men after midfielder Shamar Martin picked up a second yellow card in the 90th minute.
