King, Beckford make international starts vs Peru

Cavalier SC defender Richard King and Montego Bay United midfielder Deshane Beckford will make their international debuts for Jamaica as they have been named in the starting line-up for the Reggae Boyz international friendly against Peru tonight at 8 o'clock.

King received a call up for Jamaica's World Cup qualifying matches in the September 2021 window but did not see the field in the three matches against Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica.

The match is being used by interim head coach Paul Hall to evaluate players that could feature in Jamaica's upcoming qualifying games against Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica starting next week.
