TyQuendo Tracey forges partnership with Lifespan
TyQuendo Tracey, 100-metre National Champion, has been named brand ambassador for Lifespan Spring Water.
The partnership between Tracey and the Buff Bay, Portland-based company was made official on Friday.
“It’s a very good feeling for me personally, because Lifespan spring water has always been a part of me. It’s a product that I’ve been drinking for years. So being able to be a part of their family now is like greeting a long-lost cousin. I’m very grateful to my team at 7venz Media for getting me into the Lifespan family. I’m very happy to be a part of the Lifespan family,” said Tracey in a media release.
Lifespan CEO and co-founder Nayana Williams is also pleased with the partnership.
“Lifespan is really pleased to provide this level of support to TyQuendo Tracey, who we know has great things in store. A top athlete with the top spring water product in Jamaica is certainly a match made in heaven. But more than the commercial purposes, we like to see this young man do the best he can and we also appreciate that his management team is also very committed to him,” said Williams.
Tracey won the hearts of many when he ran a season’s best 10.00 seconds at the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association Ministry of Health/Supreme Ventures National Senior Championships last July. However, he was unable to deliver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to injury.
The 28-year-old, who ventured into sports while attending the Garvey Maceo High School in Clarendon, is currently in training with a view towards the World Championships this year.
