Shanwayne Stephens, Ashley Watson, Rolando Reid and Matthew Wekpe, of Jamaica, start the 4-man heat 1 at the 2022 Winter Olympics in the Yanqing district of Beijing earlier tonight.

Jamaica finished 28th in the four-man bobsleigh event at the Beijing Olympics.

The team of pilot Shanwayne Stephens, Ashley Watson, Rolando Reid and Matthew Wekpe completed their third run in a time of 1:01:23 minutes, an improvement from their second run of 1:01:39 but not enough to make the top 20, which would have allowed them a fourth and final round. Jamaica finishes with a combined time of 3:03:42 minutes.

Entering the final round, two German teams are in the top two positions led by the team of pilot Francesco Friedrich, Thorsten Margis, Candy Bauer and Alexander Schueller with a combined time of 2:55:17 minutes. The team of pilot Johannes Lochner, Florian Bauer, Christopher Weber and Christian Rasp are in second with a combined time of 2:55:82minutes. The Canadian team of pilot Justin Kripps, Ryan Sommer, Cam Stones and Benjamin Coakwell are third in 2:55:82 minutes.

Jamaica were making their first appearance in the four-man event since 1998.
