Having gotten their request for change, Jamaica got the job done on the field, defeating Suriname 3-1 in their Concacaf Nations League game at the National Stadium tonight.

Ravel Morrison opened the scoring in the 16th minute but Yanic Wildschut equalised in the 20th minute with a low finish. Junior Flemmings restored Jamaica's advantage in the 43rd minute and Jamal Lowe added another in the 69th to get their first win of the Nations League campaign.

The game was in doubt as the players demanded the resignation of Jamaica Football Federation general secretary Dalton Wint before they would agree to play. Wint succumbed to the pressure and resigned.

Jamaica currently lead their group with four points while Suriname are in second place with one. Mexico, the Reggae Boyz next opponents, are yet to play.
