Kerrica Hill nominated for World Athletics Women’s Rising Star award

World Under-20 100-metre hurdles champion Kerrica Hill has been named a finalist for the 2022 World Athletics Women's Rising Star award.

The full list of nominees was announced by World Athletics today with Hill among the five finalist for the award which honours the best Under-20 athlete.

The winner will be named at the World Athletic Awards next month.

Hill won the 100 hurdles title at the World Under 20 championships in Cali, Colombia in August with a time of 12.77 seconds, the fastest time in the world this year.

Hill turned pro after the championships and is now a member of Elite Performance Track Club.
