MOUNT PLEASANT United and Tivoli Gardens, who boast identical records after three games and sit next to each other in the table, will meet in their rescheduled Jamaica Premier League (JPL) match this afternoon at Drax Hall at 3 p.m.

The two teams have five points after two draws and one win; however, Tivoli holds a better goal difference to sit one place better in the standings in sixth.

A win for either team would lift them above Arnett (seven points) into fourth with eight points. A loss for Tivoli would see them slip to seventh, while a draw would leave both teams in place.

The game, originally scheduled for November 7, was postponed because five members of Mount Pleasant’s starting line-up had been invited to turn out for the Reggae Boyz, who were playing an international friendly against Cameroon in that country on November 9.

Harbour View and Montego Bay lead the JPL standings with 10 points from four games, while Cavalier are third on nine.
