KC’s Nkrumie captures Class I boys’ 100m at Corporate Area Champs

Kingston College’s (KC) Bouwahjgie Nkrumie (centre) checks his time after winning the Class I boys’ 100 metres at the Anthrick Corporate Area Athletics Championships at the National Stadium today. Nkrumie clocked 10.32 seconds to win ahead of Jamaica College’s (JC) Jaiden Reid (right), who did 10.51 and Camperdown’s Jason Lewis (out of picture) with 10.77. Excelsior’s Damion Miller (left) finished sixth in 10.95 seconds.

Kingston College's (KC) Bouwahjgie Nkrumie won the Class I boys’ 100 metres at the Anthrick Corporate Area Championships this afternoon at the National Stadium.

Nkrumie ran 10.32 seconds to finish ahead of Jamaica College's (JC) Jadien Reid, who clocked a personal of 10.51. Camperdown's Jason Lewis was third in 10.77.

Nkrumie's victory was the second for KC in 100 metres as Orandy Campbell took the Class IV title in 12.10 seconds. St George's Rushaun Dunn was second in 12.27, while his teammate Naethan Bryan was third in 12.38.

JC's Malique Dennis captured the Class II event in a personal best of 11.39. Calabar's Ronaldo Francis was second in 11.60, and KC's Joshua Spence third in 11.61.

Class II was won by Calabar's Shaquane Gordon in 10.92. JC's Dontae Watson was second in 11.00, while his teammate Nathaniel Martin was third in 11.23.
