Netball Jamaica announced a squad to the World Cup this morning led by captain Jhaniele Fowler and a major championship tournament return for Romelda Aiken-George.

The 15-member squad, led by head coach, Connie Francis, will include Crystal Plummer, who is making her World Cup debut. Plummer first featured in a major championship at last year's Fast 5 series and was again included in the England Roses Test series earlier this year.

Aiken George makes her return to major championship netball after missing out on last year's Commonwealth Games as she was on maternity leave.

Aiken George was a late replacement for last year’s New Zealand series as well as the Fast 5 tournament.

The Netball World Cup begins on July 28 in South Africa.
