Sheniela Williams of Edwin Allen High grimaces as she is about to throw the discus in one of her attempts that won her the girls' Under-20 title at the National Senior and Junior Championships (Trials) at the National Stadium today. Williams' winning distance was 36.14 metres.

Edwin Allen’s Sheniela Williams threw 36.14 metres to secure the top spot in the girls’ Under-20 javelin at the National Senior and Junior Championships (Trials) at the National Stadium today.

The only other competitor was Dinthill Technical’s Tamecia Binda, who produced a best of 28.36 metres.
