#TRIALS 2023 | MVP’s Ramone Branswell tops qualifiers for men’s 100m

MVP's Ramone Barnswell booked his place in the main draw of the senior men's 100 metres preliminaries as he led the field of seven qualifiers at the JAAA National Senior and Junior Championships today.

Barnswell had the fastest time among the seven qualifiers clocking 10.35 seconds to win his heat.

GC Foster's Odaine McPherson was the second-fastest qualifier with 10.37 seconds, the same as Shakur Williams.

Nishion Edwards of MVP (10.39), GC Foster's Earl Simmons (10.53), Oxy Athletics’ Fabian Hewit (10.63) and GC Fosters Michael Sharp (10.63) are the other qualifiers for the main preliminary round, which starts at 8:00 p.m.
