TREASURE BEACH coach Omar ‘Rambo’ Wedderburn expects today’s Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) National Tier Two final at Brooks Park, starting at 3:20 p.m., to be a fun exercise, with both teams having already secured places in next season’s Jamaica Premier League (JPL).

Nevertheless, he pointed that there is a title to play for, and once something is up for grabs, the intention is to win.

“In a sense, I think it will be a fun game because both teams have qualified already. So all the fans should really come out and support this one.

“But this is a final and as long as something is there to win, I always want to be the winner. So like any other game, we always have the intention to play and win,” he declared.

He said everybody in the team share his sentiment of wanting to win the title and he believes they are ready to seize the moment.

“It is not going to be an easy game. Lime Hall is a very good team. I respect them. So everything I am mindful of right now.

“They are a very good team. I like them very much. But we are definitely looking to lift the trophy. We just need the support of the parish. We need everybody to come on board and help us make that big bold step,” he added.

Lime Hall coach Alfred Barnett admits his team is also a bit more relaxed for the grand finale after sealing their qualification.

However, the team does not want to enter the Premier League on a losing note.

“We will play a little more relaxed, seeing that we are where we want to be in terms of qualifying for the premiership.

“We hope to play a more possession game and with more patience on the ball. So Treasure Beach can expect that we will have them chasing.

“We will try to use the ball as much to try and break them down, since we can relax a bit,” he said.

Like his counterpart, he has a lot of respect for the opposition and pointed that they will be paying keen attention to attacker, Kadeem Stone.

“We have seen Treasure Beach. They have seen us. From what we have seen, we are putting certain things in place. They have talented players and I can speak for the number 11 (Stone). We have to keep him honest because I believe he is the man for Treasure Beach and if we can keep him honest, we can come away with the victory. So we have put things in place to play him under a lot of pressure,” he revealed.

He added that. “Nothing short of a final is what I am anticipating. They are a quality team. They play around the ball a lot. So we can’t allow them to have too much time on the ball. Especially the 11. He will have to be played under tremendous pressure.

“But the mindset for me and the team is that it is not over. We want to win everything. We want to go into the premiership winning our last game, which is a good omen. We don’t want to enter the competition losing our last game.”
