Like she did in the 100 metres, Shericka Jackson made it clear there was no doubt she was the best in the country, defending her JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships title with a world lead inside the National Stadium, no less.

Jackson stormed to a world leading 21.71 seconds, but was followed home by the fast-starting Shellly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, who posted 22.26 in what was just her second race of the season.

The University of Texas’ Lanae Tava -Thomas was third in 22.55 seconds.
