National champion Rohan Watson ensured all three Jamaicans made it through to the men's 100 metres semi-finals at the World Championship in Budapest after finishing second in heat six to secure his berth.

Watson running out of lane two kept up with the field and finished fast to record 10.11 seconds, behind Sani Brown of Japan, who clocked a season’s best 10.07 seconds.

Olympic Games champion Lamont Jacobs placed third, finishing in a season’s best time of 10.15 seconds.

Ryiem Forde and Oblique Seville had earlier qualified for the semi-finals, which take place tomorrow.
