THEIANNA LEE Terrelonge, Edwin Allen High School’s outstanding sprinter, was at it once again at yesterday’s 41st staging of the JAAA PUMA Anderson-Fuller Development meet.

Fresh off her personal best of 11.30 seconds the previous week at the Pure Water/JC/ R. Danny Williams meet, she was brilliant once again on the track, clocking 23.73 seconds to win the Girls’ Class 2 200 metres to produce the fastest time on the day in the event. Lacovia High School’s Sabrina Dockery finished second in 24.08, with Briana Campbell of St Jago High School, third with 24.50,

Terrelonge, whose coach, Michael Dyke, predicted earlier in the season that he expected special performances from his charge this year, was again pleased with her performance.

“I am just doing what my coach expects me to do, as I have been training very hard and I expect to produce fast times whenever I take the track,” said Terrelonge, who could have gone much faster but had a misstep coming off the curve, losing her balance before getting back into her stride.

Edwin Allen’s Kerelle Etienne and Ferncourt’s Rihanna Scott continued their winning ways after record-breaking feats in the 100 metres the previous week.

Competing in the Girls’ Class 3 200 metres, Etienne won in 24.95, ahead of Patrina Parkes of St Jago (25.14).
