Hydel High School's Abigail Campbell points skyward after winning the girls' Class 1 400 metres at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Gils' Athletics Championships inside the National Stadium this evening.

Abigail Campbell, representing defending Girls’ champions, Hydel, took the gold medal in the final of the girls’ Class 1 400 metres at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships inside the National Stadium this evening.

Campbell crossed the line in 52.27 seconds, finishing ahead of title-chasing Edwin Allen's Tonyan Beckford, 53.22, and Natasha Fox, 54.48.
