St. Jago High School’s Rushaine Richards secured the gold medal in the boys’ Class 3 400 metres at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships inside the National Stadium this evening.

Richards stormed to victory in 49.53 seconds to get the better of the Jamaica College pair of Oneil Lawrence, 50.11, and Kyle Thompson, 51.07.
