Ta Lou confirmed for Invitational

Ivory Coast's Marie-Josée Ta Lou will join the star-studded lineup for the inaugural staging of the Jamaica Athletics Invitational, which is scheduled for the National Stadium on May 11.

According to Athletes’ Liaison, Marvin Anderson, Jamaicans Antonio Watson and Akeem Blake; confirmed their participation just over three weeks before the event.

The organisers promise that there will be an exciting mix of elite track and field competition and entertainment. Anderson stated they would build a steady list, which he believes will “fulfil the demand for a great sporting event”.

The meet will highlight 10 events from the track and four events in the field.

Tickets will start selling online from Monday.

The grandstand will have two categories of tickets $3,000 and $2,500, while it's free for the bleachers.
