Jamaica’s trio fall short of 400m final
Jamaica's trio of Junelle Bromfield, Nickisha Pryce, and Stacey-Ann Williams fell short of booking a spot in the final of the women's 400m at the ongoing Paris Olympics.
Bromfield, who competed in semi-final one, finished eighth in 51.93.
In semi-final two, reigning national champion Pryce had to settle for fourth crossing the tape in 50.77.
Williams, running from semi-final three, finished seventh in 50.79.
Bahrain's Salwa Eid Nassar, winner of semi-final one, is the fastest qualifier having clocked a season's best 49.08.
