Following on the success of her other books, Crosses to Bear Love to Share and Forever Young at 50 +, author and speaker Nina Hart, Florida-based Jamaican, last week launched her latest effort: The Recession Won't Last But Salvation Will. The launch, chaired by Dr N'sombi Jaja, was held at the Pantry restaurant in New Kingston.

The book is filled with passages from the Bible that offer hope, inspiration and comfort to those who have been negatively impacted by the ongoing recession. But it offers hope from an author who has had personal experience with what a recession can do to those who amass wealth only to see it all disappear.

So at the end of the book is an A-Z listing of all the possible home-based jobs that someone could have. Having gone down that road before, the author attests that God can make everyone recession-proof "if we learn to trust in him and surrender to him". Not a very large volume, Hart says it will teach readers how to live prosperously, in good health, create new wealth and live with an "abundance mentality".
