Kay Osborne, general manager of Television Jamaica, says there is a "pending revolution" in Jamaica over high utility bills.

Osborne, who was speaking at the Jamaica Public Service and Partners Credit Union annual awards luncheon for GSAT and GNAT students Thursday, said Jamaicans care deeply about their inability to pay high utility bills.

"The reason you care deeply about high utility bills is because the money can't stretch. You have other things to do with your money," said Osborne.

"And when the utility bills take up so much of the pay, you don't have enough left over to do other things that you must do," she added.
