Chinese is one of the most appreciated cuisines in Jamaica, and China Express is ensuring that this remains the case through its offerings of authentic Chinese dishes. According to owner Irene Lau, they are made from traditional Chinese recipes which span decades.

"We keep the Chinese tradition here to show what real Chinese food is, and we do this by maintaining the recipes."

Developing a reputation for great food, China Express is also big on maintaining its high standard, delivering quality service.

"We want people to come here and feel comfortable. They should enjoy our food, service and, of course, our ambience."

With a specially created Restaurant Week menu, the star dish of choice this year is the triple flavouroust. This comprises chicken, beef and roasted pork on a bed of fried noodles.

"This comes from a traditional recipe and people will love it because it tastes really good, and it's not heavy. In fact, it is very light. It also has the right nutrients and is a balanced meal," explained Lau.

Anticipating the start of Restaurant Week, preparations are already in place for diners. It is hoped that these diners will return after Restaurant Week.
