The Seaboard Jamaica Limited Family is mourning the loss of their colleague, Carlene Haughton-Whyte.

Carlene, who died on October 19, joined the Seaboard family over 12 years ago as a member of the sales and marketing department. According to her colleagues, her smile symbolised Seaboard Jamaica's "portrait of personalised service".

She is remembered as a hard-working and inspirational asset to the Seaboard family who spearheaded the team's enthusiastic support and involvement with the Jamaica Cancer Society. "She touched the lives of many, including her customers and the shipping community," her colleagues said.

Prior to joining Seaboard, Carlene was employed at Lyndhurst Laundry, Citizens Bank Limited and Eagle Commercial Bank Limited. She was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Meadowvale where she involved herself in projects to assist children in need. Fondly described as a 'fashionista', she was known for giving advice on the latest styles to her colleagues and friends.

The management and staff of Seaboard Jamaica extends condolences to Carlene's family and friends and joins with them in celebrating cherished memories of her.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 1 at 11 a.m. at Church on the Rock, 7 Clifton Drive, Kingston 8. The interment will follow at Dovecot Memorial Park.
