Spring Garden Café, Ocho Rios, has a reputation for exquisite seafood and has been offering Restaurant Week diners just that each year it participates. This year will be more of the same great food and wonderful atmosphere, according to manager Shorna Taylor.

"Last year was good, so we're looking forward to an even better year this year," Taylor told Food. "We're noted for good food and good service and so customers can expect the usual excellent service and excellent tasting food, in an improved atmosphere this year."

Shrimp has always been a favourite at the seafood diner and was a huge hit with diners last year, with fish being a favourite.

Quite naturally, both are on the menu again this year, along with a wide array of seafood delicacies that will tantalise the taste buds.

Enjoy the scrumptious shrimp parmesan - shrimp coated and pan-fried to a golden brown, served on a bed of pasta, topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese. There is also the lobster and shrimp regatta, with chunks of fresh lobster simmered in a mild coconut cream sauce, paired with golden butterfly shrimp over a bed of lettuce.

A combination of conch and scallops lightly seasoned and marinated in mild jerk sauce, wrapped in foil and grilled is what you get when you order the Jamaican Viagra.

The atmosphere is cosy and inviting. Candlelight dining is available for those who so desire.
