FOR The second consecutive year, the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week has extended beyond our shores with the participation of Miss Lily's. Come November 9-17, diners in New York won't be left out of all the excitement by dining at this eatery that serves up true Jamaican cuisine. Located at 132 West Houston Street, this Jamaican-style diner is a Caribbean oasis in the middle of downtown Manhattan.

Drawing from the diverse roots of Jamaican cuisine, the kitchen offers delicacies like jerk chicken, escoveitch fish, oxtail and curried goat seasoned with Scotch bonnet peppers and fiery jerk spices.

So take a bite of the Caribbean this year during the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.
