On Thursday, Total Jamaica Limited presented four winners in their Total Dayz promotion with Samsung smart televisions at their Hope Road, St Andrew headquarters. The competition was held at 32 of the 52 Total service stations islandwide.

Herbert Thomas (Portmore Pines), Marlon McLean (Waltham Park Road), Robert Williams (Gilmore Drive) and Kelli-Ann Garrick (New Kingston) each walked away with 32-inch Samsung smart televisions.

The promotion ran from November 18 to December 31 last year, receiving approximately 40,000 entrants. Karen Mignott, Shop, Food and Services (SFS) manager at Total, said the competition was held to thank customers for their support throughout 2013.

"We asked all our Total customers who purchased $3,000 worth of fuel or more to enter a grand draw. Every customer who entered got a prize. We wanted to let them know that Total cares and we want to give back," she said.

Mignott gave Total's fuel a plug, saying, "When you buy fuel at Total, you are purchasing a very fuel-efficient kind of fuel, whether 87, 90 or diesel. We have a special additive called Premier in our fuel."

"The additives, which are purely synthetic, are developed and produced at Total's Specialty Chemical Division in France. In Jamaica, we are the only fuel supplier that blends a performance additive into diesel fuel, and the benefits are tremendous," she said.

One of the Total Dayz winners, Robert Williams, was happy for the television, as he had planned to buy one for his fiancée, also had high praises for Total's fuel. He pointed out that he used fuel from another supplier and it destroyed sensors in his motor vehicle.

Kelli-Ann Garrick also had high praises for Total, making special note of the courtesy and professionalism of staff at the New Kingston outlet.
