MJW auditions at Spartan

The second of three auditions for Miss Jamaica World 2014 will be held tomorrow at the Spartan Health Club, 9 Lady Musgrave Road, Kingston 5, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The pageant is opened to single females who are Jamaicans, either by birth or parentage, between 17 and 25 years old.

PRIZES

This year's staging of the competition boasts over $15 million dollars in cash and prizes. These include local and international media exposure on the Flow TV 100 network through Sportsmax/CEEN, as well as nine scholarships worth $5 million dollars in total from the University College of the Caribbean, London University, Florida International University and Kirsk State Medical University.

Outstanding contestants who win a fast-track event will advance to the final 15. The fast-track competitions are: Sports, Model, Talent, Beach Beauty, and Beauty with a Purpose. With the reintroduction of the Digicel text to vote competition, one more young lady will advance to the finals.

The Grand Coronation will be held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre on July 12.
