MEMBERS OF the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) will benefit from an enhanced online banking experience, with the recently updated LIVE by JN Online Banking portal, which forms part of the organisation's e-banking suite of services.

The LIVE by JN Online Banking platform, which has revolutionised the JNBS' online financial transactions over the last three years, recently underwent a complete upgrade; and now allows JN members to access their banking information from mobile devices.

Ricardo Dystant, e-banking manager for JNBS, says the improvements to the banking portal were part of the organisation's growing technology focus "as we seek to improve internal efficiencies while facilitating a simplified customer service experience.

"The new LIVE by JN interface is colourful, easy to use; and, is a very functional upgrade, which allows members to better track their spending and access their funds in a timely manner," Dystant said.

User friendly

He noted that the new interface "seamlessly integrates the features of the LIVE by JN Online Banking platform into a user-friendly environment that provides a wealth of information."

The improvements include a responsive website, to enable all users to securely access the online banking facility and use features with a smartphone or tablet, in addition to their laptop or desktop computers.

The e-banking manager explained that "the upgraded system will also provide a detailed historical graph of all transactions and payments, to enable members to track their expenditures in real-time."

The LIVE by JN Online Banking system facilitates account updates, fund transfers to internal JNBS accounts, or third-party transfers to accounts held at other local financial institutions. In addition, online international wire transfers can also be completed via the system. And, JN members can make utility bill and other payments to more than 150 providers, including credit card, mortgage, and insurance payments; as well as cellular phone top-up on the go.
