4 Days to Reggae Sumfest - A band for all seasons

This year marks the 22nd staging of Reggae Sumfest. In recognition of this, The Gleaner, in partnership with Headline Entertainment and Summerfest Productions, is counting down to the festival with a daily feature of short facts on billed artistes and the event.

Take a day or two to soak up what Montego Bay has to offer or scale it up to a full VIP weekend, but whatever you choose, Reggae Sumfest 2014 has the ultimate getaway package for you from today until July 19.

The 'Greatest Reggae Show on Earth' offers so many choices for patrons to purchase tickets. Making it a band for all seasons, Reggae Sumfest offers a range of packages to season band holders, the red, green and gold band gives patrons access to all three nights of the festival at $16,000 with VIP access for $24,200.

A Weekend Band for International Night I and II of the festival, featuring performances by Jason Derulo, Tessanne Chin, Wiz Khlaifa, Sean Paul, Freddie McGregor, Future and more, costs only $12,700, and the VIP package at $18,700. Tickets for Dancehall Night on Thursday, July 17, are going for $3,300 presold and $3,500 at the gate and $6,000 for a VIP ticket. For International Nights I and II, patrons can get tickets for each at $6,700 presold, $7,000 at the gate, and VIP $9,900.
