Palace refunds WC final tickets

BECAUSE OF technical issues with the quality of the feed being received from Brazil, as experienced during the Argentina vs Netherlands semi-final match on Wednesday, Palace Amusement Company has announced a refund. Patrons who have already purchased tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2014 Final on Sunday should collect refunds at the box office, Carib 5 and Palace Multiplex, or contact 1-888-429-5722.

Issuing an apology to patrons, especially those who attended the match on Wednesday, Marketing Manager Melanie Graham said Palace Amusement prides itself on high standards and the satisfaction of patrons. "As we are not able to guarantee the quality of the feed, we took an immediate decision to offer refunds. But, in the interest of sportsmanship and goodwill, we will broadcast the highly anticipated final between Argentina and Germany at Carib 5 and Palace Multiplex," she said.

"Patrons who still wish to attend (the showing of) the game may do so at no cost, but should be mindful that, at this stage, we are not in a position to ensure that the transmission will be seamless."

Palace Amusement, facilitated by its capacity to broadcast alternative content, has partnered with SportsMax to bring World Cup matches live in HD to cinema screens.
