West Indies cricketers will play their first match on their tour of South Africa against a Makhaya Ntini Invitational Eleven tomorrow at Buffalo Park.

The regional team will have the luxury of using 12 of the 14 players available for the 25 overs-a-side match.

The Windies are not expected to name the playing group until just before the match.

Captain Chris Gayle will be the only player not available for selection. The left-handed opener is still recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during the second One-Day International against Zimbabwe 12 days ago at Harare.

The Windies had a three-hour training session earlier today under new coach John Dyson.
