Windies lose to Ntini Invitation Eleven

The Makhaya Ntini’s Invitation Eleven defeated the Windies by five wickets on the Duckworth/Lewis method in their day/night 25 overs-a-side tour match.



Batting first, the Ntini’s Eleven posted 176 for nine off their 25 overs.



Shaun Pollock top scored with 54 runs. He recieved support from Jacques Kallis 27 and Jonty Rhodes 25.



Bowling for the West Indies Fidel Edwards took two for 23 and Darren Sammy two for 25.



The West Indies team was 110 for five off 16 point 2 overs when heavy rain aborted the game.



Shivnarine Chanderpual top scored with 44 runs.



Denesh Ramdin chipped in with 20, Devon Smith 11, while captain Dwayne Bravo was unbeaten on 16.



The West Indies will play Three Tests, five One-Day Internationals and two 20/20 Internationals.



The first 20/20 international will be played on Sunday.
