Bhutto’s Body flown home

Former prime minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, who was assassinated yesterday in Pakistan, is to be buried in the family’s ancestral grave in Gari-Khuda later today.



Her body was accompanied home by her husband and three childen.



The 54-year-old politician was killed in Rawalpindi shortly after addressing hundreds of supporters.



Shortly after she was shot in the neck, a suicide bomber then blew himself up near her vehicle killing at least 22 others who were attending a political meeting.



Yesterday, angry mobs blocked the roads and set fire to several buildings.



Two people were killed when police fire into the crowd and used tear gas to break up the demonstration.

At least 11 deaths were reported as her angry supporters took to the streets.

President Pervez Musharraf has declared three days of mourning and has appealed for calm amid the riots.

Meanwhile, Ms Bhutto\'s political rival and fellow former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, reacted to news of her death by announcing that his party, the Muslim League, would boycott the vote.
