Kenya’s main opposition leader, Raila Odinga has called three days of nationwide rallies next week to protest the December 27 elections.

The opposition leader accused the government of not showing interest in dialogue or mediation.

Earlier this week, Ghanaian President John Kufuor attempted peace talks between the two sides, but failed.

Former United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan, will visit the country next week to attempt peace talks.

The police said they would not allow the rallies to go ahead.
