Three Caribbean leaders are to meet in Caracas this weekend for a summit on the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA).
Dominica\'s Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit is to be joined by his counterparts from Antigua and Barbuda and St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the sixth ALBA summit.
In February 2007, the three countries signed a joint statement supporting the general principles of ALBA.
It was founded in 2004 by Venezuela and Cuba as an alternative to the US-backed Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA).
