Belizean go to the polls

The people of Belize will go to the polls today to elect a new government.
At least 157,000 people are registered to vote in the 31 constituencies across the country.
The ruling People’s United Party (PUP) is seeking a third term in office.
The main opposition Democratic United Party (DUP), the National Reform Party (NRP), the National Alliance of Belize (NAB), and the Vision Inspired in the People Party (VIPP) will be looking to unseat the Said Musa led party.
A team of commonwealth observers headed by former Jamaican Foreign Minister, K. D. Knight will be observing the elections.
