West Kingston social infrastructure to get major upgrade

The Government is to undertake major improvement work on the social infrastructure and amenities in west Kingston.

According to the Jamaica Information Service, minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, Dr Horace Chang, has said the intervention, which is to get underway this year, should address water, sewage and housing needs.

He was touring sections of  Tivoli Gardens and Denham Town on the weekend.

Chang says the Government will work to upgrade the water supply system, address waste water disposal, as well as improve the structure of buildings.
