Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is now holding high-level discussions with Prime Minister Andrew Holness at Jamaica House.

The embattled Venezuelan leader arrived in Kingston last night for a one-day working visit.

Following the talks, Maduro will be hosted at a luncheon before a joint press conference at Jamaica House.

Maduro is also scheduled to visit the Simon Bolivar statue at the National Heroes Circle and the Simon Bolivar Cultural Centre in downtown Kingston.

Maduro last visited Jamaica in September last year to participate in activities planned to mark the 10th anniversary of the PetroCaribe agreement.
