The UPS Foundation has provided US$20,000 to outfit the computer labs at Christ the Redeemer Human Resource Centre, St Margaret's Human Resource Centre, and Riverton Meadows Early Childhood Education (homework) Centre, operated by the St Patrick's Foundation.

Part of the proceeds will also go towards upgrading the play area at the Riverton Meadows Early Childhood Education Centre.

Rachel Matthews, country manager for UPS Jamaica, was instrumental in obtaining the grant. Matthews and members of her team also volunteered their services at the Riverton Meadows Early Education Centre recently.

The donation will ensure sustainability and development of vulnerable children and communities.

UPS is committed to social and community development and believes in giving to institutions like St Patrick's Foundation that are catalysts for change.
