'L'Amour de loin' encores at Palace Cineplex Sunday

The Met Opera's L'Amour de loin encores this Sunday at Palace Cineplex, starting 11:30 a.m. Susanna Phillips stars as Clemence, the Countess of Tripoli, opposite Eric Owens as Jaufre Rudel, a troubadour on a quest to find his perfect love, and Tamara Mumford as the Pilgrim who carries messages back and forth between them.

L'amour de loin was the third of 10 live transmissions to be shown this season. The next transmission will be Verdi's Nabucco, starring Placido Domingo in the title role, on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
